About Me.

My name is Allison Weeks, and I am an oil painter based in the United States. When I was younger, I had a love for art, but I never tried my hand at it. I accidently stumbled into painting, and I am now obsessed.  I started out by teaching a few simple paint parties, I loved it!  My son noticed how happy it made me and encouraged me to try to paint a picture of Lake Tahoe from one of his trips, and then his dog, and then my daughter's dog and then my dog........  I was hooked!!!  All of my free time is spent in my studio and studying art.  My work is hand sketched and hand painted.

Allison Weeks Fine Art specializes in oil painting with an emphasis on capturing the beauty of people, pets, and nature in an impressionistic or realistic style. Having worked in finance for many years, I found that I could de-stress and relax with my painting hobby.  I love to escape into my studio and lose myself for a little while.   I really want to share that feeling with others, so I decided to start teaching classes and paint parties. 

 

I offer various classes and paint parties in my footprint to share my knowledge and help others discover their inner artist.  I strive to encourage and make it fun for everyone.  I will bring supplies and come to your home or preferred location.

Each of my paintings is a unique expression of my love of art. I am particularly inspired by my beloved pet, Princess Pookie Bougie of Pookelia, who first ignited my passion for painting. Pets are my specialty and I have a hard time sending the finished work onto its new home.  My artwork is sure to bring a touch of beauty and joy to any home.

As an artist, I am passionate about capturing the essence of animals and people in my oil paintings. I specialize in commission work to ensure that each piece is tailored to my customers. I also do memorial paintings that provide a lasting tribute to the special people and animals in our lives. My goal is to capture the perfect moment and get it just right.
